List of Products and Tools
- Foundation Brush,
- Small and Medium sized square shaped precision brushes
- Foundation,
- Translucent Powder, puff
- Supra Colors
As we only had to use three brushes, I use a foundation brush to apply the base two precision brushes that had a flat square end to it. One small sized and medium sized brush. We were given the permission of using a puff which we cold use when setting the foundation. After applying the base, I set it with powder. I then used the the
precision brushes to create the look. As I was short of time I could only create the eye bit and not the rest.
This was also very difficult to do on myself and I know it also would have been difficult to do on someone else. Even though I knew this look would be a challenge to create, I still went ahead with it as I enjoy doing things that would challenge me.
I enjoy working this way as in the future if I do come across something like this at least I know that I attempted to try do it in the past and it shouldn't be much of a challenge.
When I was creating this design as I was looking at myself in the mirror, I was having a difficulty with making sure the lines were straight. After I did the look I thought the lines were pretty much straight, however when I looked at the image I noticed that the green line that is on the forehead has a slight curvature to it.
I used supra colors to create this look as I thought that they would be the easiest to work with. After I completed it I also thought of going over the individual colors with the krayolin eye shadows as this would pop the colors out and made them more bold as well as set the base in place.
I was happy that I attempted to re-create this design as I found it difficult and I also understood how to do it for the next time. Having a steady hand to create this is really important as the lines do go wobbly. As this was a three brush make-up challenge I just had to use the three brushes, however in the future I could also use a stencil for this type of design.
