Lettice Knollys was a lady in waiting and a maid of honor to Queen Elizabeth 1.

• She was known to have porcelain skin and red gold hair. 
• She was also known to be very fashion conscious and was also classified ladies in the court by a Spanish Ambassador.
• All this traits that she had resembled that of the Queen an this made Elizabeth very jealous of Lettice.
• She got married to Walter Devereux in 1560 and had five children with him.
• Due to Walter being away in Ireland, she stated having an affair with Robert Dudley, who was one of the Queen's favorite.
• During this affair Lettice fell pregnant and secretly married Dudley in 1578.
• After the Elizabeth found out about this situation, she banished Lettice from court and called her a, 'she-wolf'.
• The son of Lettice and Dudley died at the age of five in 1584.
• Dudley was ordered to retire from court.
• Lettice later died at the age of 1634.
