Lady In Waiting-Altering My Final Design

  • After Sophie practiced my design on me I wasn't quite happy with the colors of the look as it looked very alien like to me. So I decided to play around with the colors again yet keeping the design around my inspirations.
  • This is the look I now want to have for my final design.
  • While practicing my original design we used the illamasqua white base, however now I want to use the lightest shade of foundation in the krayolin palette as this would give me a pale but not white look.
  • On the eyes to create the black swan design I originally used purple, I will be using gold for this now relating back to the luxuries of Lettice.
  • Instead of having white lashes I will go for gold lashes. I got this inspiration from Pat McGrath's gold 001 looks.
  • On top of this design I will be sticking on black colored lace to represent the dark secretive personality of Lettice.
  • I will be using gold to contour the cheeks as this would give me that youthful glow that Lettice had.
  • For the lips I will now use red as it symbolizes back to the Elizabethan era and also shows love, jealousy, hatred and passion that Lettice had towards everything that was going on in her life.
  • I will have my neck painted in gold and will have the lace going over it to mimic a high collar and to reflect the design over the eyebrows.
  • I have not changed my design completely as I have kept the original concept and just changed the colors round so that Sophie is still going to be confident and familiar with the design. I also thought that sticking the lace on will be easier for her and less time consuming.
