Lady In Waiting PowerPoint Presentation
Lady In Waiting Class Reflection/Feedback
We had to present our designs for our lady in waiting to our class to share our ideas and get feedback from one another. After I presented my designs, this is the feedback I got from my peers:
- Practice with different lace to find a pattern I like.
- Test how much I can do in the given time.
- Keep the gold and red in the design to keep the Elizabethan link.
- Carry out trials of the last design.
- Think about the hair with the lac incorporated.
- Try more options and designs.
- Is there too much going on, regards to time keeping.
I found this feedback really helpful as it got me thinking of many things related to my designs. For example time keeping, with the limited time we are given will my partner be able to finish the lace pattern in time and do the rest of the make up as well? I suppose I have to practice with my partner to see what happens and if it does not work out I will have to alter my final design. Due to time keeping instead of drawing on the lace pattern, I could stick on the lace or use it as a stencil to create the pattern. This exercise was very beneficial as it got me thinking outside the box.
