This was the second trial of Sophie practicing my design. We used the same products as the last trial, however I asked Sophie to change a few products as I wanted to try it to see whether it goes with the look. On the eyes during the first practice I originally had gold liner on the eyes. Looking at the pictures because it was gold liner the gold lashes were not standing out.

During this trial I asked Sophie to use black khol pencil as the liner and smudge it as I wanted a messy look to it. I preferred this look to it rather than the gold liner as this way the gold lashes stood out more. On the lips I had gold in the outer corners of the lips, however I wanted to try it in the middle this time just to see how it looks.

It wasn't that strong on top of the red as it was the aqua color. Looking at these two different styles I prefer this one to having the gold in the corners as with the gold being in the middle, it is more bold on the top and fades as it goes to the bottom.

I quite liked this look if the lips, although I would want the gold to be a little more darker and bolder on the top lip and fade going on to the bottom lip. I used a more thinner textured lace as I wanted to see what difference it would make and how it would affect the look and design. In the previous practice session I had a thicker lace and the gold base underneath was hardly seen.

With this particular lace, the gold seeps through as yet having the black color of the lace over it. I would like this lace to be used for the final timed assessment. Looking at the picture at the bottom, I feel that Sophie needs to make sure that the lines on the forehead are even as in the picture one is higher than the other.

Looking at the lace I need to make sure I cut it equal next time as it has to cover the eyebrows evenly on both sides. I wasn't quite happy with the base as this looked a little more white as I want a pale look. I asked Sophie to use less product next time and blend more as I want a pale look but not white.
