In The Role Of The Make Up Artist

Being in the role of the make up artist, from the final timed assessment I learned a very big lesson that is time keeping. As I stated in my previous blog post about the final timed assessment, as I powdered the white strip that goes across the face some of  it came of at the bottom at the right side.
I lost much time as I was trying to rectify this and as a result of this I had to rush everything else.

Looking at Sophie's design, I think it was an amazing design and she even thought about the design in cutting a few things out if they will not fit n the timed period.
She did opt out from sticking on the bottom lashes as we had no time for that in the practice sessions. I and Sophie worked really well together and what I liked about Sophie is that she was always willing to come meet up for practice sessions and our communication about the design was really good too. Working on another persons design was a challenge for me as the designer already has an image of what their design has to look like and so did Sophie.

I wanted to give it my best so that Sophie would be happy with the outcome of her design. However, I wasn't pleased with myself on the outcome for the final timed assessment as I know I could have done much better. I will remember this as a lesson learnt for any future assessments.
